Below is a list of upcoming events that may be of interest to parents and professionals working with children with emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders.

• Family Fun Day – July 8, 2008: Join the Fun Come Rain or Shine
       Save the date now for the thirteenth annual Family Fun Day at Mount Olympus Water & Theme Park in Wisconsin Dells. This year’s event will be held on the second Tuesday of July (July 8) as in the past.
       Sponsored by Wisconsin Family Ties, Family Fun Day is offered specifically to families that include children and youth with mental, emotional or behavioral challenges.  Last year was a record year with over 900 children and adults attending from all over the state. Many families report that their children wait for this day all year long! And we know everyone is having fun when we see big smiles on faces in the wave pool, happy shrieks from the water slides, and mouths full of hotdogs and chips!
       The water park opens at 10 a.m. and you may stay until closing for a price of $11 per person. This price includes the outdoor and indoor water parks, plus a hotdog lunch.  If you wish to upgrade your ticket to include the entire theme park, you may do so at the gate for an extra $7.00 as long as you have a Family Fun Day ticket through Wisconsin Family Ties. Both of these prices are greatly reduced due to discounts from Mount Olympus and subsidies from WFT. We are in discussion with Mt. Olympus staff regarding accommodations so that access to the park is smooth. Any changes will be addressed in the letter with your tickets.
       Please reserve your tickets today by filling out the form below.  Enclose it with your check or money order and mail it to our Madison office. Deadline for ticket requests is Thursday, July 3. We appreciate your attention to this date as your entry into the park is made much easier (both for you and for us) if you have your tickets in hand when you arrive at the park.
